Journalist

Those with a pining to seek out news and make sure that it is delivered in a clear and engaging style often opt for a career in journalism and start by studying the subject at college before completing a degree. Although there is a general assumption that a journalist works for a newspaper, magazines and websites employ such persons just as frequently.
A journalist must be prepared to work long and unpredictable hours on a regular basis while being inquisitive, possessing excellent writing skills, keeping a cool head under pressure, and making sure that they are good at relating to various different types of people. If not employed by a publication, journalists might work freelance and attempt to sell their stories to organizations that cannot offer them a full-time post.
A common median salary for those with posts at newspapers or similar publications is around C
$25,000, although competition is intense and a high degree of originality in a journalist's writing is required to stand out from the crowd.
