Visual Merchandiser
A key duty for a visual merchandiser is to design and create front-window or in-store product displays for a retail company. One of the main jobs of a person in this position is to attract more customers through visual displays, and hence generate sales for the company. Company managers and senior official work closely with visual merchandisers.
One of the most important attributes for this role is creativity. An in-depth knowledge of fashion trends, fantastic team working abilities, communication skills, interpersonal attributes and a willingness to work irregular hours (including night shifts or early morning shifts) are essential.
Having a degree or even advanced degree in the fields of retail management, fashion design, graphic design or some other related industry is generally required by companies, especially those in larger cities like Toronto and Vancouver. Starting salaries usually hover around C

$25,000, but jump to more than C
