Technical Analyst

Examining relevant data and stating the recommendations most likely to produce successful results are the main tasks of a technical analyst. Growing numbers of computer companies are hiring these financially astute individuals to help increase their chances of monetary success.
In the information technology sector, this position requires a lot of problem solving and good communication skills as well as financial knowledge. These individuals provide business managers with the financial information they need, and make sure companies follow their own procedures and policies when it comes to finances.
Technical analysts also frequently prepare and present reports, and can sometimes even help design and carry out business programs which may significantly impact their employers. This career requires strong skills in business, finance, accounting, communication, and working with others.
A university degree is required in this profession, preferably in accounting, business, economics, or computer science. Technical analyst salaries generally range from C
$53,000 for entry level positions to well over C
$100,000 for senior positions.
