Workers in this field must be safety-conscious individuals with good written and verbal communication skills. They must also have an aptitude for math and science-related subjects, particuarly physics. An analytical and problem-solving personality is also important.
Electrical technologists usually have a two-year diploma in technology, and many opportunities for suitably qualified workers can be found in the Ontario region, where wages are between C
