Executive Assistant

Executive assistants are required to have time management, quality orientation and problem solving skills. Candidates for this position should be creative and display innovative thinking abilities. Other core competencies include planning, organising, research and analysis. Candidates should have strong communication skills in order to interact efficiently with other team members.
Duties include administrative and office management roles that adhere to strict instructions. Employees in this position may be required to arrange travel schedules and make travel reservations. Responsibilities also often include reviewing documents in order to correct grammatical or spelling errors, so a string grasp of English (and/or French is essential). Executive assistants prepare draft reports by performing background information through research.
Educational requirements are a university degree in a relevant field and experience in the industry. Applicants need to have knowledge of relevant computer programmes, such as MS Office, Word and Excel. Time management and multitasking skills are essential for this position. Salaries are in the range of C
$60 000 a year.
