Market Analyst

A market analyst plays a key role in gathering data and analyzing market demographics, prices, competition and distribution channels in order to help clients make important decisions regarding their marketing strategies for existing or projected products or services.
The key responsibilities of a market analyst include: meeting with clients in order to determine their marketing strategies and goals and collecting demographic information regarding their client base, in addition to information about the banking and financial sector. The job holder will be expected to conduct research using various primary research methods and to generate reports based on their findings.
This role requires time management skills, critical thinking and the ability to problem-solve. The job holder will be expected to produce reports in a timely manner, adhering to strict deadlines. Entry-level positions are available to those who possess a bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, mathematics, statistics or other related field.
The average salary for this position is between C
$38,000 and C
$50,000, with an annual bonus of up to C
$5,000.
