Research Assistant

Working with a team leader, a research assistant will have an in-depth knowledge of everything a company is trying to achieve. They will have expert analytical skills as well as an exceptional ability to analyse data and figures. A degree in a subject such as science, mathematics or management is often a prerequisite.
The ability to interpret data is key to the position of a research analyst; they will be required to understand figures, formulate reports and come up with recommendations on how a company or organisation should move forward on the substantiated conclusions. The ability to communicate with a variety of workers and managers is important, as is the capacity to understand what the consumer requires.
A research analyst will find roles in a wide variety of manufacturing businesses and will be able to progress in a number of fields, including becoming a team leader or a team manager. Average salaries for this position are between C
$15,000 and C
$30,000 per year.
