Working in industrial sales requires a strong knowledge of particular industrial products and the ability to be able to sell these products to individuals or businesses. This occupation can be in industries such as distribution, manufacturing and industrial supply organisations.
The responsibilities of working in this sector may include putting a sales strategy in place for industry products, identifying new markets and generating new business, following up customer inquiries, and presenting the executive team with regular performance updates.
