There are many different jobs within the environmental field. A career within this field requires having excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills, as workers are often required to deal with the public. Having the ability to follow legal guidelines and work with set procedures is essential. A good working knowledge of environmental law is also an important part of this career.
It is important to be able to use computer applications and other equipment, and also keep records and write reports. Being able to work as part of a team is also often required, and some roles require the ability to lead and supervise a team.
As there are many different jobs within the environmental field; qualifications vary, but is usually essential to have a Bachelors degree or a diploma in engineering or another related subject in most roles. The average salary applicants can expect within this field range from C
