A training coordinator typically works in human resources or a training department, but may also be employed by a training provider. They may work alone or as part of a team and are responsible for a number of key tasks, including needs assessment, training research and the general organization and management of training programs.
A training coordinator is responsible for ensuring that any new company employee receives the training that they need, while implementing a familiarization program that will enable them to adapt as quickly and easily as possible to their new working environment. There may also be a requirement to handle incentive programs and performance reviews, as well as to explain certain aspects of the company to its workforce.
Most major companies have a need for this kind of role, so there are often many openings for those that possess the necessary leadership and communication skills. Two to three years’ experience in human resources is often required, as well as at least a diploma in a related discipline. Earnings are in the region of C
