Music Industry

The music industry offers a range of careers which can see individuals earning low or extremely high salaries. Performers, music teachers, music therapists, music promoters, music agents, record producers and music journalists are just some of the roles available within the music industry.
Many of these roles require a related degree in order to get a start. Responsibilities vary according to the position and valued skills include being able to read music, play a musical instrument and categorise music according to its genre. There is often a requirement to keep abreast of music trends or developments.
The median average salary in Canada is near-impossible to measure for a performer. Those working as music instructors or teachers can be employed by establishments such as schools and make C
