Graphic Designer

A client's messages can be communicated effectively by a graphic designer who produces design solutions with a high visual impact. Design solutions are required for a vast variety of both products and activities like websites and advertising or books and magazines.
A graphic designer is expected to work to briefs that are agreed with a client or an account manager and they develop creative ideas in the media most appropriate to meet the client’s objective. To be successful in this role, a creative flair must be matched with a knowledge of industry software. A professional approach towards important facts such as time, cost, and deadlines is important.
Day-to-day tasks of a graphic designer will involve managing more than just one design brief at a time, meeting clients to discuss the requirements of a job, interpreting a client's business needs, developing design briefs, and gathering required information through research.
A median salary for this role in Canada is around C
$20,000 per annum. Starters should expect to be paid less but persons in this role can progress to C
$40,000 with experience.
