For a role in facilities, the ideal candidate should have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and a willingness to learn and work independently. Reporting to the facilities manager, the candidate helps oversee the financial management and operational performance of the company and reports to senior management as well as their immediate manager.
The facilities employee will be educated to a community college diploma level and have one of the following designations: CFM, CMP, FMA or RPA. They will have excellent communication and negotiating skills, be able to handle pressure and tight deadlines, have a strong customer focus and exceptional computer skills. There will be a security CPIC check which the candidate is expected to pass.
Employment in Canada is mainly in British Columbia although there are similar roles in Vancouver and Calgary. The average annual salary for this role is C
$47,611, excluding bonuses, overtime and profit sharing.
