Equipment Operator

The role of an equipment operator includes maintaining safety in the working environment, which could be a factory or a power plant. The main duties include daily inspections of machinery or equipment to ensure that everything complies with industry and employer standards, as well as maintaining log books, updating paperwork and submitting reports to the administration team.
The skills that are required for an equipment operator include strong problem-solving skills and general knowledge of tools and machines, including how to repair and maintain them. The candidate must comply with the employer's policies and standard codes, as well as communicate to supervisors or management any faults they find.
A high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, are musts. The average salary for an equipment operator varies, but the job holder can expect a median of C
