Electronic Engineering Technician

The candidate for an electronic engineering technician role must have at least four years’ experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, communication, control, security and fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial sectors.
Technical calculations for load, lighting analysis, coordination and fault studies, load calculations and power system design is required. The candidate will have the ability to write concise, relevant and detailed technical reports, as well as to respond to all project phases from contractors, management and clients.
Experience in working independently against tight deadlines, yet still producing exceptional reports, is needed. Having worked in industrial, health-care, transportation and institutional design will be seen as an advantage. Knowledge and experience with building code, utility suppliers and CSA is preferred.

$40,356 up to around C
$58,700, excluding bonuses and any profit-sharing.
