Now more than ever, the need for excellent 3d artists who can design video games or animated movies is a necessity, with media production houses thriving on innovation and creativity.
3d artists work from home or an office and in some cases, are given the flexibility to work at hours that suit them best. While video games and cartoons, or animated movies, are worked with the most by 3d job holders, advancements within the medical field have meant that creating images of anatomies or internal body parts is increasingly in high demand. In addition to working with digital computers, making small or large sculptures of any material including clay or wood is sometimes required.
While talent is often looked upon more favourably than having the right qualifications, an increase in competition in this industry means that firms across North America have started hiring college graduates with degrees in fields such as computer science, animation, and technical design.
The median salary in Canada for those with one year of experience is anything between C

$40,000. Those with anything up to four years of experience should bring in C
